Easy Quiche Lorraine
- 1 (9-inch) Pie Shell, unbaked
- 8 Slices Bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 C (8 oz.) Swiss Cheese, shredded
- 3 Eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 ¾ C Milk
- 1 T All-purpose Flour
- ½ t Salt
- 1/8 t Ground Nutmeg
Preheat oven to 450° F. Bake pie shell 7 minutes or until lightly browned. Reduce oven temperature to 325° F. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the bacon. Sprinkle remaining bacon and cheese over the bottom of pie shell.
In a medium bowl, combine eggs, milk, flour, salt and nutmeg. Pour egg mixture into pie shell; sprinkle with reserved bacon.
Bake at 325° F for 35-40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean, Cool 10 minutes before serving.
Yield: 6-8 Servings
