Prepare yourself, this meatloaf recipe is going to seriously up your standards for meatloaf. This "ain't" your mamma's meatloaf! 2 large eggs 3/4 cup evaporated milk 1 teaspoon rubbed sage 1 teaspoon nutmeg 2 teaspoons salt 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper 1 lb ground beef 1 lb. ground pork 2 cup club cracker crumbs (crumbled fine) 1 and 1/2 cups grated Pearl Valley Swiss cheese 1 cup finely chopped onion 5 to 6 strips bacon Preheat oven to 350° F. 8 Slices bread (buttered & cubed) 8 eggs beaten 4 cups milk 2 cups shredded Swiss Cheese 8 ounces cooked ham, chopped Salt and pepper to taste Arrange bread in a 11 x 14 greased pan. Combine eggs, milk, cheese, ham, salt and pepper in a bowl, mix well. Pour over bread. Chill, cover,and set overnight. Bake for 1 hour @ 350 or until set. (Chopped onion, peppers or mushrooms may be added).
2 16oz packages California Blend Frozen Vegetables 2 cans Cream of Mushroom soup 2 cups Shredded SWISS CHEESE 2/3 cup sour cream pinch of black pepper 2 cans French-fried onions Mix ingredients together (only mix in half of the onions and Swiss cheese) Bake, covered, at 350 for 30 minutes Uncover and sprinkle with remaining Cheese and onions bake 10 more minutes Makes about 12 servings The recipe below is one of Heidi's favorites.
