You have heard of blue cheese before, but at Pearl Valley all the cheese we make is green (at least environmentally speaking).
We believe that it is our responsibility to minimize our environmental footprint and have taken extensive efforts to be as environmentally sustainable as possible. We are using state of the art technology to treat our waste water while generating BioGas. The BioGas is then burned in our boilers to generate steam and in a generator to make electricity. This is just another reason you should feel great about buying any of the high quality cheeses from Pearl Valley!
